FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to the most common questions about LIT — coverage, integrations, pricing, security, and how we compare to ZoomInfo, ImportGenius, Apollo, and the rest of the freight-data stack.

Platform

What is LIT (Logistic Intel)?

LIT is a freight revenue intelligence platform built for logistics sales teams — freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs. It combines 124M+ Bill of Lading records, verified contact data, a CRM (Command Center), and an outbound engine in one workspace. Sales reps move from signal → contact → campaign → close without switching tools.

What is Pulse AI?

Pulse is LIT's AI layer that turns natural-language questions ('EV battery importers shipping from Korea, volume up MoM') into ranked company lists, generates account briefs with cited sources, and drafts personalized outreach. Every claim links back to a public source — no hallucinated facts.

Data sources

Where does LIT's shipment data come from?

LIT ingests U.S. Customs and Border Protection AMS Bill of Lading filings (ocean), supplemented by international customs sources covering 60+ countries. Records are normalized, entity-resolved against a company graph, and refreshed daily. Coverage today: 124M+ historical BOLs, 524K+ active importers, 60+ countries, 142 daily-tracked lanes.

Integrations

Does LIT integrate with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Outreach?

Yes — LIT integrates natively with HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, and SmartLead. Push companies, contacts, and shipment context with one click. Two-way sync keeps your CRM up to date with LIT signals. Custom integrations are available on Enterprise plans.

Pricing

Can I try LIT before paying?

Yes. Start a free 14-day trial with full feature access — no credit card required. You can also book a 30-minute demo where a solutions engineer walks you through your specific lanes and target accounts.

Security & compliance

Is LIT GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Yes. LIT is SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR-compliant, and CCPA-compliant. Contact data is sourced from public business records and enriched only with B2B professional information. We honor opt-out requests within 5 business days and provide full DSAR support.

Comparisons

How is LIT different from ImportGenius, ImportYeti, or Panjiva?

ImportGenius, ImportYeti, and Panjiva are trade data tools — they show you BOL records but stop there. LIT is an intelligence + execution platform: BOL data is joined to verified decision-maker contacts, embedded in a CRM, and wired into multichannel outbound sequences. You don't export CSVs to act — you act inside LIT.

How is LIT different from ZoomInfo or Apollo?

ZoomInfo and Apollo are horizontal sales intelligence tools without trade data. They show you firmographics but miss the signals that matter to logistics sellers: lane volume, carrier mix, modal split, customs activity, and BOL counterparties. LIT is purpose-built for freight, with shipment data joined to contacts.

Onboarding

Who is LIT for?

LIT is built for revenue teams at freight forwarders, freight brokers, NVOCCs, 3PLs, and logistics SaaS companies. Typical users: SDRs, BDRs, Account Executives, Sales Directors, and growth-marketing operators who need shipment-driven prospecting.
